AltruWood, Inc., a Portland-based sustainable lumber distributor, has launched a new website with cleaner navigation, updated information on product offerings, and a blog featuring informational articles about the world of reclaimed wood and FSC certified wood.
"The enhanced blog will be regularly updated with content written with an eye toward educating consumers about the recycled and FSC lumber business and products," said AltruWood President Patrick Monaghan. "We aim to be the expert in all sustainably sourced wood products, including barn wood, antique wood and hand hewn lumber."
The company also offers FSC certified and reclaimed beams, flooring, decking, fencing, and finish lumber in a variety of species. AltruWood provides a number of western wood products, primarily Douglas fir and Cedar, in addition to FSC certified tropical materials and other North American woods.
