Corowa Wool Marketing is a company which acts as wool buyers and wool classers. They buy and re-class raw wool from farmers and sell the goods to exporters worldwide. Gordon is responsible for managing all major aspects of the business and overseeing the daily operations. He is involved in meeting with local farmers and exporters as well as strategic planning for the business.
Mr. Pollock attributes his success to his knowledge of the wool industry which he learned in his experience gained through working in the merino stud industry for a number of years. He also worked in the shearing industry before working in several wool stores to gain more experience. He also believes that his honest and straightforward approach with clients is a major factor in the success of his business. Gordon is actively involved in the community through his sponsorship of local schools and sports clubs. He is also a member of the Corowa Chamber of Commerce.
