He became involved in the nursery business after gaining experience in cultivating vegetables, and he attributes his success to his desire to build a legacy for his children.
Mr. Johnson received a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture from Delaware Valley College of Science and Agriculture (now Delaware Valley College) in 1977. He is a member of the New Jersey Department of Agriculture, the New Jersey Farm Bureau, and the New Jersey Nursery and Landscape Association.
