Cottage Herbs is a wholesale nursery which was established on the fertile Virginia plains over 20 years ago. From its inception, Cottage Herbs has utilized organic principals using natural agents to control insects and other plant pests. In addition to traditional herbs they carry a wide range of bush foods which showcase some of Australia's most popular herbs.
The nursery's perennial herbs are grown and utilized as source cuttings for the propagation of new stock. Using their own established plants ensures them that their herbs can flourish under normal garden conditions. Cottage Herbs' diverse range of herbs have a variety of uses. Lavenders, Rosemary and Santolia make excellent hedges. Penny royal, Corsican mint and Brahmi can be used as ground covers that have practical use as well as being decorative in rockeries or garden beds.
Margaret is involved in all major aspects of the management of the business. She is a member of the Nursery Industry Association. In the time away from her busy schedule, she greatly enjoys watching sporting events.
