As an ungulate ecologist with expertise in ecological modeling and habitat-use relationships, Dr. Rupp's work aims to integrate theory with empirical study. She has 13 years of professional experience in wildlife and fisheries sciences. Dr. Rupp excels in ecological modeling, integrating theory with empirical studies, conducting research on spatial applications, including the use of both geographic information systems and global positioning systems, and developing natural resource models to evaluate wildlife and habitat relationships. Her responsibilities include teaching, analyzing spatial structures and organizing outreach programs.
Dr. Rupp earned her Ph.D. from Texas Tech University in 2005. The American Association for the Advancement of Science named her Canon National Parks Science Scholar.
